ECW recap, 10/31/06

Posted by archangel in ECW on Sci Fi

The program begins with a breif recap of last week’s ladder match between RVD and the Big Show, followed by Paul Heyman announcing that the stipulation under which RVD will get his title shot at December to Dismember is in an “extreme elimination chamber” match, whatever that is. Hopefully, it will be something like an elimination chamber combined with barb wire massacre, with all the ropes being replaced with barb wire. In my personal opinion, that would be awesome.

Following this is our first match between Kevin Thorn and Sabu, it being a qualifying match for the extreme elimination chamber. My initial reaction to the match was that it was gonna be a good match and while it seemed to be a little short (I don’t know if it was, maybe it just FELT short cause it was so good), it still gets my vote for match of the night.

main highlights:

-Sabu lays a killer somersault plancha on Thorn while Thorn is on the outside

-Sabu tried a leg lariat off the second rope, but Thorn counters it into a bomb/pin of some kind

-Thorn had a great clothesline counter to a move Sabu was trying to do off the second rope

-Sabu picks up the victory with the camel clutch, thusly being one of the six that will go into the elimination chamber in December

After the match there is a short interview with the Sandman as he canes the hell out of a clown that walks by. Apparently he hates clowns.

Next up, Davivari, accompanied by The Great Khali, had a match against Shannon Moore. At first it is unclear as to wether it is Daivari or Khali who is going to wrestle. My first impression was that Khali was going to squash Moore. Instead it turned out that it was Daivari who was doing the squashing, suprizingly, most of the match focusing on Moore’s arms/shoulders.

main highlights:

-Daivari put an interesting armlock/shoulder turnbuckle smash on Moore that I had never seen before

-Moore had a hope spot mid-match with a nicely executed wheel kick

-Daivari gave Moore an over the shoulder armbreaker that reminded me somewhat of Jeff Hardy’s signature version of the jawbreaker

-Daivari picks up the win with what commentator Joey Styles describes as a “modified shoulder separater”, an armlock combined with a ddt

After the match there is a brief interview with RVD about what happened with Paul Heyman at the beginning of the broadcast, claiming he had no idea what an “extreme elimination chamber” was, but saying that it sounded like something he would be good at.

Next up was the ECW Diva Halloween Costume Contest. Now, if you watch WWE, you know the drill. A couple divas come out in costumes covered by robes, reveal said costumes, and it all breaks out into a fight. If you must know, the divas involved were Trinity, Aerial, and Kelly Kelly. Trinity was a CSI-style walking crime scene, Aerial was, well, herself wearing the clothes she always wears, and Kelly Kelly dressed up as CM Punk. That’s right, CM Punk, drawn-on tatoos and all. Trinity won, followed by Mike Knox comming in to confront Kelly on her choice of costume. CM Punk interrupted this and attacked Knox, Kelly not seeming to care about her boyfriend getting his ass kicked.

After this, Knox had a promo putting out a challenge to CM Punk for a match next week.

Next up they decided to showcase on television some of the fans in the crowd who had come in a Halloween costume for the occasion. There was a wraith/angel of death-type costume, a mad scientist whom Tazz described as Balls Mahoney’s proctologist, a man in a gorrilla suit eating bananas, and an old, fat guy in a pink fairy outfit. The relevance of this will make sense later.

Finally it comes down to the main event of RVD and Hardcore Holly against Test and Big Show. I would rate this match as all right and with an interesting ending to it. It’s not the greatest match, but it still has it moments.

main highlights:

-RVD gives Test a springboard legdrop, and follows it up with a backwards roll; I dunno, I just thought it looked cool

-RVD does a flying body press on Test while Test is on the apron, bringing him all the way to the floor

-RVD tries his infamous two shoulderblocks in the corner, floowed by a backflip and another shoulderblock on Test, but Test counters the last shoulderblock with a decapitating clothesline

-at one point the person from the crowd in a gorilla suit comes out with a night stick and clubs RVD in the back, allowing the Big Show to bring RVD back into the ring, chokeslam him, and pin him for the win. After the match, it is revealed that it was Paul Heyman himself who was wearing the gorilla suit all along!

final thought:

I thought this week’s episode of ECW was all right, not as good as last weeks’ which was AWESOME, but still progressing from where it started and moving the new breed of ECW into where it is that it will evolve. The only real negative thing I have to say about it is the fact that there was not even one match the entire night held under extreme rules. The match between Kevin Thorn and Sabu, even though I labeled it the best match of the night, could’ve been twice as good had it been a hardcore match. It’s a bit more understandable how they didn’t make the main event extreme rules since with the guys who were involved, with the exception of RVD, a much more structured match would’ve been better for them. As for the Daivari versus Moore match, I don’t think anybody would’ve cared that much, they don’t seem like the kind of wrestlers who can put on a hardcore match and make it seem very interesting. So that leaves the match between Sabu, an ECW original and a man who personifies the term “hardcore” along with one tough son of a bitch, the vampire Kevin Thorn. This match had possible hardcore match written all over it and it still would have been appropriate for Heyman’s “extreme elimination chamber” match.

Introducing: Daivari

Posted by admin in Daivari
This weeks episode of ECW on Sci Fi saw the introduction of two new extremists from the Smackdown brand. The first was Daivari.
Daivari made his WWE debut in December 2004 alongside Muhammad Hassan sporting a gimmick of two Arab-Americans who were tired of the prejudice and racism they were receiving after the 9/11 attacks.  During the duo’s time on Raw, they competed against the likes of Jerry Lawler, Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels.
Both Daivari and Hassan were drafted to SmackDown in June 2005 and began a contreversial feud with the Undertaker which lead to UPN requesting that WWE remove Muhammad Hassan off of their network.
In November 2005, Daivari returned to RAW, acting as Kurt Angle’s chosen special guest referee and later his manager before moving to Smackdown to manage Mark Henry.
In April 2006 Daivari would make his return bringing in the debuting Great Khali to attack The Undertaker, but when The Great Khali became inactive due to injury, Daivari was taken off the road as well.
Daivari is still considerd a hot prospect in the world of wrestling, ECW should give him his platform to allow him to compete in more matches, it certainly appears as though the ECW fans already love to hate him!

Introducing: The Great Khali

Posted by admin in The Great Khali
Dalip Singh was born in the village of Dhirana in the state of Himachal Pradesh in India.
Under the ring name “Giant Singh”, Dalip Singh became a pro wrestler for All Pro Wrestling before joining New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2001. In NJPW he formed a popular tag team with former WWE oddity The Giant Silva, becomming the tallest tag team in pro-wrestling history.
In January 2006 Singh was signed to a contract by WWE and assigned to the Deep South Wrestling developmental territory for training, before debuting on WWE television with Daivari by his side in April 2006.
Great Khali had a long running feud with the Undertaker during his time with the brand and also defeated the then World Champion Rey Mysterio in a non title match.
Khali was due to face the Undertaker to a Punjabi Prison Match at The Great American Bash. However Khali was taken off the road by the WWE due to liver disease and did not participate in that match. The pairs feud culminated in a last man standing match, which the Undertake defeated Khali, resulting in Khali’s first ever WWE defeat.
On August 29, 2006 it was reported that Khali will be out of action for several months due to surgery on both knees, however in October he and Daivari began appearing at ECW house shows before making their ECW TV debuts on the October 31st edition of ECW on Sci Fi.
The Great Khali appears to have limited wrestling ability, however ECW fans would surley like to see a Sandman vs Khali extreme rules match!

ECW Recap, 11/7/06

Posted by archangel in ECW on Sci Fi

The show begins with a recap of the main event last week in which Heyman screwed RVD out of the match by ingeniously disguising himself as a gorilla (never thought I’d say that about someone) and interrupting in the match.

This is followed by an extreme elimination chamber qualifying match, CM punk vs. Mike Knox. Tmatch unquestionably gets my approval for match of the night, seeming as I had a hard time narrowing down the main highlights.

main highlights:

-Punk puts Knox in that headlock he does reminicent of yoshiro tajiri’s tarantula hold

-Knox gives Punk two devastating hard whips into the corner before putting him into a backbreaker submission hold

-Knox counters a bulldog out of the corner into an STO/backbreaker

-Punk wins by submission via the anaconda vice, and thusly will be entering the extreme elimination chamber

Next up there is an interview with Sylvester Terkai and Eligha (however you spell that) Burke, as they announce their arrival the the ECW roster.

After this, Paul Heyman entered the ring to give three big announcments. First, that the main event of the evening would be RVD and Hardcore Holly vs. Big Show and himself. That’s right, and himself. Second, that the alteration to the December to Dismember main event to make it an “extreme” elimination chamber as opposed to a normal one is that there will be weapons involved in the match, to my dismay (in case you didn’t read my last recap, I was hoping for an elimination chamber merged with a barb wire massacre match). dispite my hopes for barb wire massacre being crushed, weapons, which were previously impossible to bring into the match, will still make a good addition. Lastly, he announced that the last spot in the extreme elimination chamber would be filled through an open contract, open to anybody from ECW, Raw or Smackdown with an “insatiable appetite of a prostitute” for success, to be signed on the show next week.

Next up was the match between Daivari and Little Guido. My first expectation of the match was that it was going to be more even than last weeks’ Daivari match but that they wanted to put over Daivari, so he would win. My predictions were not far from the truth.

main highlights:

-Daivari sent Guido throat-first into the second rope, causing him to flip backwards from the impact

-Guido beautifully took a moves by Daivari and floated into a sunset flip-like pin

-Daivari put that same armlock DDT on Guido, which by the way I mistook for the “modified shoulder separater” last week which Styles was actually using to describe a different move

-Daivari wins by pinfall

After this is the extreme elimination chamber qualifying match between Test and Tommy Dreamer. This match was alright, had it’s moments.

main highlights:

-Test slammed Dremer into the post on the outside three times, much alike when he did so five times to Hardcore Holly two weeks ago

-Dreamer irish whipped Test to the ropes and followed up with a nice bomb/pin of some sort

-Test put on his finisher onto Dreamer, the torture rack neckbreaker

-Test wins by pinfall, and will now be in the extreme elimination chamber

Suprizingly, without filling any crap between three matches in a row, we head straight into the main event of RVD and Holly versus Show and Heyman. Much alike the main event last week, this match was alright with a suprize twist ending.

main highlights:

-RVD gave Big Show a nice 360 kick to the shin early on in the match

-Show sent RVD through the ropes to the floor with a single punch

-Show turned RVD inside out with a clothesline

-after spending the entire match without one tag able to be made, RVD finally makes the hot tag to Holly, comming in with a lot of crowd pop, only to turn on RVD, kicking the hell out of him in the corner. this followed by an alabama slam onto a chair and Show actually connecting with a splash, causing the match to be called, assumingly with RVD winning by disqualification since no pinfall, submission, or countout was made.

final thought:

I thought this week’s show wasn’t as good as the others, but they can’t all be golden. There were two main things wrong with this week’s show. First, just like last week, there was not even one hardcore match. This opportunity could’ve easily been filled by the extreme elimination chamber qualifying matches. Second, the main event dragged the show down a bit being drawn out and with an “entertainment” ending. Hopefully next week the main event will be something more interesting than another tag team match where RVD is the only one who can carry it.

ECW Recap, 11/14/06

Posted by archangel in ECW on Sci Fi

The show begins, as all wwe shows sem to begin nowadays, with a recap of last weeks’ main event wherin Hardcore Holly betrayed RVD in a tag team match.

Following this is the signing announced by Paul Heyman last week for the sixth and final participant to the extreame elimination chamber. Being accompanied by the Big Show, Heyman went out into the ring, and showed through the titan tron Hardcore Holly approaching from backstage. Before Holly can make it to the ring, though, Bobbly Lashley makes an apperance and beats the hell out of Holly. Lashley then proceeds to the ring, spears Show, walks into the ring and signs the contract. Bobby Lashley will now be the sixth participant in the ECW December to Dismember extreme elimination chamber.

After this, Hardcore Holly, Test, and Big Show all complain to Heyman about why he made it an open contract when he could’ve just signed Holly in himself. Heyman said that he would try to get Lashley out of the match, which in all likelyhood will not end up happening, and said that he would scheduele Lashley to be in the main event against Hardcore Holly.

This brings us to the first match of the night, a rematch from last week’s CM punk and Mike Knox match. Although this was not for Punk’s pertaining spot in the elimination chamber, Knox still wanted a chance at another match to prove he is better. The entire match, Kelly Kelly is at ringside very obviously cheering for Punk the entire time. Though in my opinion this match could’ve been a bit more innovative, I still crown it my title of match of the night.

main highlights:

-at one point the action gets taken to the outside and Punk hits Knox with a roundhouse kick that ends up hitting KellyKelly; despite this, Kelly still cheers for Punk the rest of the match

-Knox executed the most perfectly done verticle suplex that I personally have ever witnessed

-Knox put Punk in an interesting kneeling surfboard stretch at one point

-at one point, Knox is on the outside, which allows Punk to go for a HUGE suicide dive that connects beautifully

-Punk wins by submission due to his anaconda vice hold

Following this is a promo from Matt Striker where he begins talking about his favorite quotes. He mentions the quote “Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.”, and shows a promo of the elimination chamber to remind the six men involved in the extreme elimination chamber of those past.

There is then an interview with CM Punk in which he welcomes Bobby Lashley into ECW. He then goes on to say, as he is addicted to competition, that he is very excited about the extreme elimination chamber seeming as the competition involved is so incredibly great.

After this is a match between Daivari and Tommy Dreamer. This match was dull for most of it, but still had some good parts. Daivari seemed to spend most of it focused on Dreamer’s legs.

main highlights:

-Daivari begins the match by distracting Dreamer with the Great Khali, and clipping Dreamer’s leg from behind

-Daivari also took one of Dreamer’s legs and slammed it over the edge of the ring from the outside, getting pushed into the guardrail when he then tried to do the same thing to the other leg

-Dreamer uses his experience and skill to duck out of a flying body press from Daivari from the top rope, Daivari landing flat on his face

-Tommy Dreamer wins by disqualification due to the interference by the Great Khali

From here we hed straight into our main event of the night, Bobby Lashley versus Hardcore Holly. This match, alike the other main events of ECW as of late, was alright with yet another suprize twist ending.

main highlights:

-Lashley did his infamous one armed stalling verticle suplex on Holly

-when the fight goes to the outside, Holly dropped Lashley face first into the steel steps

-Lashley suprizingly did his own kneeling version of the shock treatment, a move out of the book of TNA’s monster Abyss

-Lashley wins by disqualification due to Big Show interfering in the match right when he was about to win

The rest of the show had so much good action, I decided to give it it’s OWN main highlight section. What proceeded to happen was that Test and Heyman’s personal enforcers stormed the ring to beat on Lashley. What happened after is as follows.

main highlights:

-CM Punk and Sabu come out and double clothesline Test to the floor, followed by a somersault plancha by Sabu to Test from inside the ring

-Hardcore Holly then Alabama slams Punk

-RVD comes in, chairs the enforcers and Hardcore Holly, and Lashley then proceeded to double spear, that’s right, double spear, the enforcers

-the show ends with RVD and Lashley showing off their own signature taunts, both claiming they will be ECW champion

final thought:

There was a lot wrong with this weeks’ episode of ECW, but some of the better points of the show kinda saved it. The better points I’ve already named, so I’ll continue on with the bad points. First of all, for the third week in a row, NO EXTREME RULES MATCHES!!! That plus the fact that over half of the matches were settled by disqualification. There was nothing extreme about this week’s show except for RVD lightly using a chair. The wrestling, though it did have some good spots to it, wasn’t as good as it could’ve been and came off even a little bit boring at times. The real thing that saved this week’s broadcast from total disaster was it’s awesome ending.

There is only one plausible explination that I can think of for this. The new ECW started out with at least one match per week held under extreme rules. Now, in a little while, the most extreme match that they will allow to go on in the WWE will be taking place at a pay per view. The only conclusion I can come up with is that Heyman had to make a deal with Vince that he would have no more hardcore matches until the extreme elimination chamber to make up for the level of violence that will surely take place. Vince doesn’t like too much violence in his wrestling to protect his investments, so Heyman would figure that he would even out no hardcore matches for a while with one huge, incredibly hardcore match. I expect, or at least hope, that after December to Dismember, hardcore matches will be brought back to the weekly ECW show.

ECW recap, 11/22/06

Posted by archangel in ECW on Sci Fi

The show opens up with a recap of Bobby Lashley’s arrival into ECW last week. Lashley came in and signed a contract for the extreme elimination chamber at December to Dismember on December 3rd.

This is followed by Matt Striker being in the ring and “welcoming” the ECW newcomer. He compared Lashley’s time in the army to his time in the New York school system, claiming his time at school was worse than that of serving your country.

This is appropriately followed by our first match of the night, Matt Striker against Bobbly Lashley. Lashley was all offense in this match, not giving Striker any room to breathe or get so much as a blow of air onto him the entire match.

main highlights:

-Striker begins the match on the outside, being nervous about entering the ring with a now most probably angry Lashley, Lashley feeling so considering Striker’s comments as an insult to Lashley’s time as a soldier; Lashley throws Striker’s chalkboard and desk out of the ring at Striker

-Lashley had a belly-to-belly suplex that launched Striker almost all the way across the ring

-Lashley also had an impressive stalling suplex that he performed onto Striker; it wasn’t one-armed like he usually does, but it was still damn impressive

-Lashley wins by pinfall after he brings back his finisher that I personally had missed seeing him do, the dominator

After this there is a recap of Jeff Hardy’s ladder match last night on Raw, this being done in order to show just how extreme the man is. For those of you who don’t know, Jeff Hardy had a ladder match last night against Nitro that was undeniably extreme.

This was, also appropriately, followed by a tag team match between Team Xtreme (the Hardy Boyz) and FBI. This match was simply amazing, and gets my seal of approval as match of the night.

main highlights:

-Jeff had an interesting combination he did of an arm wrench, followed by a standing arm drag, wrapped up with a knee to the shoulder (it might not sound like much, but if you saw it, it was interesting)

-Team Xtreme did a double wheelbarrel backdrop to Nunzio of the FBI

-FBI did a very smart double elbow to the lower back of Jeff, since it seemed he still had pain there from the match with Nitro last night

-Team Xtreme performed an awesome combination of a powerbomb and neckbreaker at the same time off the top rope

-Matt picked up the win by pinfall after a twist of fate done by himself and a swanton bomb done by Jeff

After this Paul Heyman went backstage to talk with RVD. He announced to him that if he lost the main event that night of him against Hardcore Holly in an extreme rules match, he would be out of the extreme elimination chamber and Holly would be in it in his place.

After this there was a short promo for Sabu, this being a series of clips of his impressivness in the ring. Of course there was no talking in this promo since Sabu never really does a promo like that.

Following this was a match between Kevin Thorn and CM Punk. This was a good match with a twist ending possibly leading toward another match next week.

main highlights:

-Thorn pulled out Punk from the corner, Punk landing on his back, and turned that into a Boston Crab

-Kelly Kelly came to ringside as Punk was in the said Boston Crab, perhaps that being what motivated him as he eventually countered that Boston Crab into a twisting head scissors

-Punk brings a standing armbar into an enzugiri into, of course, the anaconda vice and wins by submission

-after Kelly came in to congradulate Punk on his win, Thorn and Aerial attacked them both; after fighting them off, Kelly gave Punk a hug, who then left the ring with Kelly under his arm as Mike Knox watched by the entrance stage

After this was a promo from the Big Show in the ring. Show talked about how the extreme elimination chamber was going to be his only real challenge since he was undefeated in his title defense matches, even against all of the WWE superstars. Lashley interrupted, presumably since Show had never beaten him, and some violence broke out, ending up in Show leaving with Lashley still in the ring.

Right before Hardcore Holly entered the ring for the night’s main event, Test came in to talk to him. Test told him to remember that so long as Holly won tonight, he would be in the elimination chamber, or, as he put it, “You win, you’re in.”

This leads us into the main event of the evening, a hardcore match between Rob Van Dam and Hardcore Holly, and boy was it hardcore. Needless to say once you read the main highlights, this was a great match and is definately first runner up for match of the night.

main highlights:

-Holly puts a folded chair over RVD’s head while RVD is down, and gives it a hard stomp after which RVD looked like a drooling mentally challenged person

-RVD countered a crossface strike that was being given to him from inside the ring while he was on the apron into a stunner-like manuver, Holly’s head bouncing off the top rope

-Holly did a move alike his stomp to RVD’s hed through a steel chair but this time instead of a stomp, it was a leg drop from the top rope

-RVD did a nicely executed sky-high superplex onto a chair

-RVD won by pinfall after a 5 star frog splash onto Holly through a chair

final thought:

This week’s ECW was truely a breath of fresh air from the past couple weeks. There was some great innovativness and finally, an extreme rules match was on EXTREME championship wrestling (and not only that, but it was a damn good match). I personally have always wanted to see the Hardy Boyz in the original ECW and while it is impossible for me to get my wish, this was still a pretty good substitute and it was still really good to see the Hardys in the ring as a tag team together again. I personally hope they keep up this improvement they’ve made from the past couple of weeks, this week’s episode was great.

At the December to Dismember press conference, The Hardys issued an open challenge to “any team in the world” for the PPV.

Initially, it is not known if the team will be from outside of WWE, from RAW or SmackDown, or if it will be wrestlers from the ECW roster.

ecw recap, 11/28/06

Posted by archangel in ECW on Sci Fi

I would like to apologize to all of my loyal fans, of which to my knowledge I have two, the guy who owns this site and my girlfriend, if this entry of mine seems a bit short and/or rushed cause, well, it was. don’t have much time to write this this week, but I promise next week I will have much mroe time to spend on this.

anyways, the show began with Paul Heyman in the ring discussing extreme elimination chamber. the rules would be that two randomly chosen wrestlers would begin the match without weapons, and every five minutes a pod would open, letting in a random new wrestler and random weapon. he unveiled that the weapons would be a steel chair, a crowbar, a table, and barbie (a barb-wire baseball bat).

after this is our first match of RVD against Sabu. this match showed jsut how well these two know each other’s styles and with all of the counters in the match, undeniably gets my seal of approval for match of the night.

main highlights:

-RVD went to the top turnbuckle, Sabu countered it and went for a hurricanrana, RVD countered that and went out to the middle of the ropes for what looked to be a double sledgehammer, Sabu countered and went for a springboard dropkick, and before Sabu could even get his feet up, RVD counters with a body check

-RVD attempted a verticle suplex from the apron to the outside, Sabu countered and went for a sunset flip, RVD countered and delivered a perfectly executed apron moonsault

-RVD also countered a clothesline from Sabu into a textbook perfect German suplex pin

-Sabu did his infamous triple leg drop that he usually does off a chair, but this time he did off RVD’s back onto his own head, causing RVD to, with legs in the air and head on the mat, do 360s like a spinning top toy

-RVD countered a tornado DDT, then did a five star frog splash for the win

after this was a recap of the Lashley contract signing and a promo for the extreme elimination chamber.

next up was a match between Team Xtreme and the team of Sylvester Terkai and Elija Burke. this match was pretty good, had it’s moments.

main highlights:

-Burke impressively countered a hammerlock from jeff into a rib breaker

-Jeff did a headstand onto the top turnbuckle into a headscissors to Burke, showing Burke’s inexperience when facing a crusierweight-style wrestler

-Burke, in the most perfect form I’ve seen executed, gave Jeff an STO

-Terkai flattened Jeff with a front power slam

-after a poetry in motion, twist of fate, and swanton bomb, matt picked up the pinfall for the victory, followed by an attack on Team Xtreme by MNM, their opponents at December to Dismember

following this was a match between CM Punk and Test. I was kinda suprized at the ending of this one, but I guess it kind of makes sense when you think about it.

main highlights:

-Test had a ruthless mudhole stomp to Punk early on

-Test did a move I personally have only seen once before and always wished more wrestlers would use, a tilt-a-whirl sidewalk slam

-later on in the match, Punk did a suicide dive to the outside to Test

-the match ends up in a double count-out as Punk wouldn’t get off Test delivering mounted punches over and over, though he had a wide open opprtunity to get back in the ring

after this we see Pal Heyman walking with the Big Show pleading with him not to face Bobby Lashley, which was the main event of the night. all Show had to do for a rebuttle was give him a close, angry stare. Heyman said that if he was gonna face Lashley, to let him be at ringside.

following this we are brought to a clip of MNM leaving the arena. they claimed that there are two kinds of people in this world: MNM, and everybody else. they claimed they were gong to dominate Team Xtreme just like they did that night.

finally, we are brought to our main event of the Big Show vs. Bobby Lashley. it started out looking like it was gonna be good, but of course, Show started out the match not carrying it very well or making it very interesting, but then Lashley picked up a little as much as an inexperienced big guy with a limited moveset can do, though it was still something.

main highlights:

-Show gave Lahley a decapitating clothesline

-Show also stood on Lashley, driving his feet into Lashley’s lower back

-Lashley delivered a verticle suplex off the bottom rope to Show

-Heyman’s enforcers and Test interfered jsut as Lashley was about to win, and Lashley wins by dq

final thought:

this week’s show was alright, not the best. it’s a bit understandable how there wasn’t any hardcore matches since they’re going to be having one huge one in just a couple days at December to Dismember. in his match this week, we didn’t get to see any of CM Punk’s signature moves. hopefully as competition gets gradually tougher, Punk still sticks to his roots and ensures that those older moves are still in there. would’ve liked to have seen more matches announced for the upcomming ppv, but then again, ECW ppv’s have always been at least partially based upon suprize and being unscripted, so it’s typical of them. I personally am hoping to see some ECW originals not signed to the new ECW at the show, and will be doing a review of it next sunday.
