Introducing Rodney Mack
On September 15, 2006, it was reported on WWE.com that Rodney Mack (along with Marty Jannetty and Brad Armstrong) will be returning to the WWE to work with younger talent and may also have a chance to return to WWE full time as well
Rodney Mack first appeared in the WWE in 2003, under the name of Redd Dogg as Bull Buchanan’s replacement for John Cena’s enforcer.
That wouldn’t last long and he was soon switched to Raw under the name of Rodney Mack.
On Raw, Rodney Mack often competed in “White Boy Challenges”, where he would wrestle opponents for five minutes. He was undefeated in these matches until he was challenged and defeated by Goldberg.
After forming a team with Christopher Nowinski, he later teamed with Mark Henry before suffering a knee injury in November 2003.
Rodney Mack returned to WWE TV in July 2004, but only competed regularly on WWE Heat and was released in November that year.
There is a strong possibility that Rodney Mack will appear on ECW programming, his wife Jazz is also part of the ECW roster, but is yet to debut on ECW on Sci Fi. It is more than likely that the pair will debut soon.
