The Big shows non wrestling return!

Memphis ABC affiliate channel 24 has been reporting that the under card for the Hulk Hogan vs. Jerry Lawler will feature “The Giant” Paul Wight (aka Big Show). Other wrestler’s scheduled to appear include The Rock N’ Roll Express, Bill Dundee, Greg Valentine, Brutus Beefcake, Jimmy Hart, Jim Cornette, The Barbarian, Jimmy Valiant, Brian Christopher, Koko B. Ware, and Abdullah the Butcher.

The event will take place April 27th at the Fed Ex Forum. Tickets will go on sale this Saturday. The event is officially titled “PMG Clash of Legends.”

Big Show to take time off

After much speculation amongst the Internet Wrestling community, today WWE.com has announced that The Big Show will be taking some time away from the ring.

The Big Show stated: “I’ve reached a point in my career right now where I am a little run down and hurt pretty bad physically,” explained the Extremist. “I’ve been wrestling the past three months pretty much in pain every night. I can’t compete at the level I want to compete at, and that’s the most heartbreaking thing.”

The Big Show on Smackdown!

More ECW interbrand activity is taking place in the WWE, this time ECW Heavyweight Champion The Big Show appeared on this weeks Smackdown, along with WWE champion John Cena initially to watch the main event championship match between Booker T and Batista.
During the match Batista inadvertentley speared Booker T into The Big Show who then attacked the former champion, resulting in Booker T being disqualified.
After the match Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long announced that on next weeks show, ECW champion The Big Show will team with Booker T to take on Batista and John Cena.
